Few days ago a patient was recievedin our hospital. He is around 45 years, businessman,came with the complaints of deep unconciousness and respiratory distress

save the life of child suffering from congenital heart diseases

My younger brother ,named Tanvir ,is a patient of congenital heart disease(single ventricle). During my childhood I saw that my brother was lin and thin but bluish, but can walk, play. But became tired after mild exertion.So my father came to Dhaka with my brother. A famous cardiologist saw him and advice to consult with a cardiac surgeon. That time cardiac surgeon sayed that my brother will not survive .After heard that my papa took decision to take him to India. And he did this . In India two cardiac surgeon suggest for operation. But they said that it is a new procedure. So that my papa back to home.

There after we planned that when the treatment will be improved then we will do that.I was then at school. After completion of my higher secondary exam I took admission in medical college. Gradually I can understand what is the diagnosis .I have read different books which were available to me.I asked to my senior but nobody gave me good answer. Not only that I took my brother to many cardiologist. They never suggest for any treatment.Only they treat the problem which we faced.But mom always asked me that I am a doctor but I can't do anything.Two to three years ago internet was not so available, so we contact with a doctor came from India. He said that it is risky to operate. I became silent for few months.My mom always ask me to take news. After repeated request of my mother i contacted with a cardiac surgeon . He advised to take my brother to India. Three months ago I took him there operated there . My brother is now well, can continue his university. My mom is very happy now. I also.

I am a medical officer ,working in ICU,In Millenium Herat And General Hospital,Lalmatia, Bangladesh. We have 8 bed ,with 5 ventilatior machine. We can provide emergency hemodialysis with ICU support.Most of our dialysis unit can not provide dialysis at night. It is a great problem for kidney patient. Most of the kidney patient has history of respiratory distress at night and they can not tolerate the distress and seek the emergency hemodialysis. We are here in Lalmatia to provide emergency hemodialysis at any time.

Few days ago a chronic renal failure patient came with the complaints of respiratory distress, he came from Dhaka Medical college hospital, Doctors from there advice for emergency hemodialysis. When I recieved the patient he was just taking the terminal breath. Her wife was crying and request me to save her husband's life . I examined him and instantly shifted him at our emergency Dept. He had no pulse , no blood pressure,He was cyanosed and non responsive.We immediately intubate him and started advance cardiac life support. Just after few minutes we got the pulse and BP. Then We shifted him in our ICU. We took cosultation from our consultant and we give him hemodialysis 2 sessions. Patient gradually became responsive ,concious. W extubate and sent him to the ward. He is a police, working in Gajipur , He was diagnosed as a case of chronic kidney disease and advised for hemodialysis one year ago but he refused it . For his negligency ,her wife and his only daughter went to loss their nearest one.So , we suggest for Kidney patient that don't neglect your treatment, obey your doctor's advice,take hemodialysis routinely.If you face any problem we are here for any type of support.Don't hesitate to contact with us . dswadud@gmail.com
